Auf dem Campus der Universität Bayreuth, ist die Zukunft bereits Gegenwart. Hier wird geforscht und diskutiert, wie die Welt von morgen aussehen kann und soll. Deshalb freuen wir uns sehr, dass der DLD Campus wieder zu uns kommt und Studierende und Wissenschaftler, regionale Unternehmen und Repräsentanten zusammenbringt mit den digitalen Vordenkern rund um den Globus.

Schon zum dritten Mal kommt die DLD Campus-Konferenz nach Bayreuth. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die digitale Transformation von Unternehmen und der damit verbundene Kulturwandel, Deep Tech wie Robotik sowie die Zukunft der Mobilität mit batteriebetriebenen Fahrzeugen. Neben internationalen Speakern wie David Hanson, der den ersten wirklich menschenähnlichen Roboter „Sophia“ entwickelt hat, Stanford-Professor Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht und Terry von Bibra, Europa-Chef von Alibaba, werden auch regionale Unternehmenslenker und Politiker erwartet: unter anderem Judith Gerlach, die Bayerische Staatsministerin für Digitales, und Martin Wippermann von Rehau.

DLD – ‚Digital Life Design‘ steht für eine Goldgrube, ein Live-Medium, das Geschichten erzählt, News aus Wirtschaft, Politik, Wissenschaft und Kultur, die helfen, sich eine Meinung zu bilden, Position zu beziehen. Ein kuratierter und daher extrem unterhaltsamer Mix aus Vorträgen, Diskussionen und Performances, der Einblicke in verschiedenste Bereiche und Kontakte über alle Fächergrenzen hinweg ermöglicht.

Zitat der DLD-Gründerin Steffi Czerny, Mitglied des Hochschulrats der Universität Bayreuth zu diesjährigen Motto des DLD, „Optimism and Courgae“:

„Wer die Zukunft nur als dunkle Mischung aus Überwachung durch Technik, Verlust von Privatsphäre, Menschen überflüssig machende Maschinen, Klimakatastrophen und geopolitischem Kräftemessen sieht, lässt sich von Angst und Pessimismus treiben. Statt in Schockstarre zu verharren, müssen wir selbst mit anpacken und die Welt optimistisch mitgestalten. Dazu brauchen wir Mut!“
